With how much I travel, of course I have an airport parking hack. Well, actually, it’s not so much a hack but a website I use. Sure, that doesn’t sound all that glamorous of a hack. But each time I recommend said website to my friends and family they rave about it, wondering how they ever traveled without it.
CheapAirportParking.org provides airport parking reservations for travelers wanting to find affordable, off-site airport parking lots. By choosing a departure airport and travel dates, travelers can search lots, compare rates, and conveniently reserve airport parking online. Parking lots that they work with are fenced, lighted, and secured. They are also generally open 24 hours a day.
When I lived in the Los Angeles-area, I exclusively used this service and was never disappointed. When choosing a parking vendor on the website, probably 90% of the time I chose the Westin because of the valet service they provide for around $8-12 per day. You can, however, often find parking for as low as $5/day elsewhere!
Although this website does serve most major airports, it does not serve PHX. There, instead, I recommend using: https://onestopparking.com/Phoenix-airport-parking-PHX
You can generally find parking for around $6-$10/day on that website, but I usually pay the $12 at East Economy because of the convenient Sky Train and FREE bag check (for certain airlines) in the parking lot! I actually can’t say enough good things about PHX, but perhaps one day I’ll try.
